Product Goals
The BioTrap is a disposable waste collection container for the containment and safe disposal of contaminated fluids gathered during a variety of medical procedures. It's design lends itself towards preventing cross contamination, spillage, leakage and the overall protection and safety of personnel coming in contact with such fluids.
Technical Data
The BioTrap's design allows for the safe disposal of fluids generated during the transfer of blood, dyes, drugs especially during angiography and angioplasty procedures where large amounts of contaminate are gathered and require safe collection and disposal. The BioTrap can hold a minimum of 0.5 litre and when in the closed position is spill/leak free even when dropped.
Materials
The materials used in the manufacture of the BioTrap are superior to other similar devices on the market and are more robust and easier to handle, while remaining biodegradable. The BioTrap is constucted in such a manner as it is a one-piece device requiring no assembly either prior, during or after use.
