Product Goals
BEVELED AND BLUNT IRRIGATION CANNULAE FOR USE WITH THE SAPHENOUS VEIN DISTENTION SYSTEM
The Beveled and Blunt Irrigation Cannulae are intended for use in conjunction with the Saphenous Vein Distention System. Designed to give easy insertion into the open saphenous vein and secure retention during the distention procedure.
- Both designs are manufactured from a clear polycarbonate
- Individually wrapped in a double sterile pouch
- Supplied sterile for single use only
- Supplied 25 units to a carton
- VIC (Beveled tip vein irrigation cannula)
- BIC (Blunt tip vein irrigation cannula)
Technical Data
The tip is inserted into the distal end of the vein and ligated. The cannula is then attached to the primed saphenous vein distention system (SVDS).
Materials
All materials used in the manufacture of the vein irrigation cannulae have been biologically and chemically analyzed to current ISO standards and approved for use in the manufacture of this medical device.
CE marking is carried out in accordance with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC.
Sterilization by EtO in an ISO approved facility to current ISO/EN standards.
